The LCU School of Business seeks a highly qualified educator/scholar to contribute to continued excellence in our undergraduate accounting program and in our new Master of Accounting (MAcc) program beginning Fall 2020. The successful candidate will have the capability and desire to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting. The LCU School of Business seeks faculty who can contribute to the mission of preparing students for their calling as Christ-centered business professionals, fully equipped for lives of Christian service and leadership.
An earned doctorate in accounting or closely related field is required. Persons with a Masters degree who are committed to pursuing a doctorate in accounting may be considered; however, the person will not become tenure-track eligible until completion of the doctorate. A current CPA license in good standing is required. Excellent communication skills are expected. All qualified applicants must be professing Christians and be active, faithful members of a congregation and be willing to support the Christian mission and purpose of the university.
Applicants must be committed to undergraduate and graduate education and show promise of becoming an exceptional teacher who values mentoring and advising students. A normal teaching load is twelve-hours per semester. Scholarly activity, service, and other duties as assigned are also expected of the successful applicant.
