SUMMARY: The Controller is responsible for managing all aspects of the accounting and reporting function of the Company. The Controller will supervise two or more employees in handling responsibilities related to accounting, payroll, tax reporting and compliance, cash management, bank relationships, credit and collection, risk management, and accounts payable while initiating and maintaining the budget and driving forecasting and monthly variance analysis and management reporting.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily operating account bank reconciliation.
Monthly reporting in the following areas:
Manager’s meeting report
Prepare a Bugspouts article
Managing of the Accounting Department personnel.
Work with Technical Training & Safety Manager to maintain Inventory Management system.
Work with top management on product, service analysis and profitability.
Review technician commission calculations.
Calculate sales commissions (including pay for PTO, training, holiday, etc.)
Maintain fuel cards for drivers.
Prepare financials at month end.
Make monthly note payments.
Perform other duties off of monthly check lists.
Performs other projects and/or duties as assigned by Department managers.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Controller
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
Strong MS Office skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Effective diagnostic, analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to concentrate and conduct complex and detailed analyses of financial situations
Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills when working with both internal and external customers
Ability to work well with others, meet prescribed deadlines and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
Ability to maintain confidentiality of donor, payroll, and other sensitive information of the organization

Sit for prolonged periods.
Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
Empties files at end of the year for storage.
Inside office with varying temperature control.
Work hours 8:00 am ~5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with 1-hour lunch.
